Scope of Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how NOG LLC (the “Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) may collect, use, and disclose personal information in connection with the products and services (collectively, the “Services”) made available by the Company, including but not limited to networkofgiving.com and our downloadable mobile applications (collectively, the “Site”).

By using the Services, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy.

Information We Collect:

We may collect information directly from you when you use our Services — for example, when you register to become a Member or Business User, when you make a purchase with a participating business as a member, or when you link your third-party financial accounts. In addition, we may automatically send, receive, and record certain information from your computer, web browser and/or mobile device when you visit the Site or use the Services.

• Personal Information: We collect information that can identify you, such as your name, email address, postal address, gender, or other demographic information. We collect this information when you register for an account, contact us, or participate in certain features of the Services.
• Non-Personal Information: We obtain other information that does not identify you personally, such as your browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifier, and usage data (e.g., pages visited, time spent on the Services). We collect this information automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from your use of the Services.
• Cookies and Similar Technologies: We may use cookies, web beacons, and other similar technologies to enable the Services and to personalize your experience. You can control your cookie preferences through your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may limit your ability to use all features of the Services.

• Connect Your Accounts: Connect Your Accounts is a feature for Members that allows you to share your transaction information (such as date, business, amount) for the Services. By using the Connect Your Accounts feature, you grant NOG LLC and its third-party service provider, Plaid, Inc., permission to access your third-party financial accounts designated by you. By using the Connect Your Accounts feature, you agree to Plaid, Inc.'s End User Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information:

Your information is an integral part of our operations, and we use it in a variety of ways in providing the Services and operating our business. We use the information you provide, for example:

• To provide and improve the Services;
• To create and manage your account;
• To respond to your inquiries and requests;
• To send you important information about the Services;
• To comply with legal requirements; and
• To prevent fraud and abuse.

We may use your email address or other personal information to contact you for administrative purposes such as customer service or to send you promotional materials, offers, and/or messages related to the Services and the activities of third-parties we work with. Generally, you can opt out of receiving promotional communications, through links provided in the messages, by updating your account preferences through the Services, or by contacting us directly at privacy@networkofgiving.com.

How We Share Your Information:

We do not share personal information (whether provided by you manually or via a third-party service provider) with other companies for joint marketing purposes; or with any third parties so they can market to you. We may share, transfer, or disclose information collected from and about you in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We may disclose your information in connection with providing Services and to third-party service providers who help us operate the Services. These service providers are bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and to use it only for the purposes authorized by us.
• Comply with Laws: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state and federal laws (such as copyright law), in response to a court order, judicial or other government subpoena or warrant, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement activity.
• With Your Consent or At Your Direction: We may share information with third parties when you direct us to do so or if you have consented to additional sharing of your information (including as set out in this Privacy Policy). We have no control over the means by which third parties further use or disclose your information.

We may share de-identified and/or aggregate data and analytics with third-party partners about how users interact with our Services.

How We Protect Your Information:

We take reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Retention of Information:

We will retain your information for as long as it is necessary for us to comply with our data retention requirements and provide you with services and the benefits of our Services and successfully run our business. However, even if you request a deletion, we may be required to maintain your information for as long as necessary to:

• Comply with our legal or regulatory compliance needs (e.g. maintaining records of transactions you have made with us);
• Exercise, establish or defend legal claims; and/or
• Protect against fraudulent or abusive activity on our service.

This means we may keep different information for different periods. If your account is canceled because you have not used it in a long time, we may delete this information at any time.

There may be occasions where we are unable to fully delete, anonymize, or de-identify your information due to technical, legal, regulatory compliance or other operational reasons. Where this is the case, we will take reasonable measures to securely isolate your personal information from any further processing until such time as we are able to delete, anonymize, or de-identify it.

Once you have registered for an account, you may update or correct your profile information and update preferences.

Account Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by accessing your account settings page through the Site or by contacting us at privacy@networkofgiving.com. Upon confirmation that you wish to cancel your membership, we will immediately delete your personal information, including: Name, Email Address, Password, Phone Number, Address, Linked Cards. As noted above, we cannot delete information about transactions that result in merchant contributions.

Children's Privacy:

The Services are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@networkofgiving.com.

Changes to this Privacy Policy:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Services.
